Time efficient and highly effective dog training designed to teach your
dog the manners he or she needs to be your best friend and a real member
of your family. Training is done during a two week stay in Beth's home.
Clients have
been raving about our immersion training program since it
started in 1985. Many clients bring their new dog or puppy
for training so that it gets a good start.
At the end
of your dogs visit, Beth trains you with your dog. Your dog will behave
well because you are fair & fun, which builds respect. Your dog will
want to please you.

Immersion
Training Speeds Learning & Retention
Training is done throughout the day, instead of in "training sessions."
Dogs aren't born knowing what sit or come here means, so, we use "show
and tell". We show them and tell them what is expected using positive
reinforcement. This training method saves time and frustration because
your dog learns the right way the first time. Similar to learning French
in class once a week vs living with a French family, immersion speeds
learning and retention because situations are real and repeated frequently.

Trained, Too
After your dog is trained, you are trained so your dog maintains his good
manners back at home. Beth is experienced at training both dogs and their
owners. (The answer to one of the most asked questions is: No we don't
train mother-in-laws, children, wives, or husbands. Dogs are much easier
:-) .)
