DOG
LOVING TEAM
"Big
or small we love them all" is the team motto at Happy Tails Resort
& Spa.
Friendly,
Flexible and Experienced
All of our staff members have had several breeds and sizes of dogs. Our
experience and understanding helps us to quickly get to know your dog
- helping him feel comfortable and at home. Your dog is special in his
own way and we like to treat him that way.
Beth
Meyer
Beth is dedicated to your dogs enjoyment, health and safety. Beth began
training dogs professionally in 1983. In 1984 Beth founded
Beth's Dog Training to provide a loving in-residence
dog manners program for people who wanted a well trained dog but didn't
have the time to train their own dog. In Dec 2001 Beth added an enclosed,
warm water pool for dogs needing pool work, pool
play, health maintenance or health optimization.
Each
of these steps has been inspired by the needs of dogs
and their loving owners. Zollie, Beth's
Great Dane, brought Beth to a puppy obedience class, which lead to Beth
becoming a professional trainer. In 2000 Rocky, her present Great Dane,
was healthy and fit until a sudden illness left him nearly immobile. Rocky
and Beth experienced first hand the benefits of a warm
water pool after surgery. Beth was inspired to add a pool to Happy
Tails Resort and rename the company Happy Tails Resort & Spa.
Beth's own
dogs compete at conformation, obedience and agility events with top rankings
in obedience. Two of Beth's dogs are stars, having participated in a local
fashion show and a national television commercial.
Paul
Jackson
Paul owns and operates all dog boarding services and facilities. He ensures
all dog guests enjoy their stay with us and maintains their environment.
As always, Paul, spends part of each day throwing balls, giving cookies,
supervising play time and going for walks ("walk, did someone say walk").
Paul is Beth's brother and has been involved with Happy Tails since the
early 90's.
