History
For over twenty years people have been asking Beth Meyer to train their dogs. The naturally healthy and fun environment at Happy Tails Resort & Spa ensures your dog will enjoy his stay and ensures you will feel good about putting your dog in our care.

Happy Tails Resort & Spa grew by popular request. It started when Beth Meyer, our founder, took Zollie, her Great Dane puppy, to a puppy class. One fun class led to another, then came requests to teach classes, then requests for Beth to train dogs at her home. Training and interaction based on positive motivation, respect and fairness was welcomed and effective. Dogs and their owners have wonderful things to say about Happy Tails Resort & Spa.

In December 2001 a large, warm water pool was added to the facilities at Happy Tails Resort & Spa to cater to the many dogs with health issues who need special facilities to get or stay healthy. It's also a great place for active dogs to train and for all dogs to play.

Paul Jackson, Beth's brother, has been part of the Happy Tails team since the early 1990's. In early 2004 Beth shifted her focus exclusively to dog pool services and immersion training. At the same time, ownership and operations of dog boarding services transferred to Paul. In mid 2005 dog boarding services will move a couple miles down the road to a new, larger facility. Paul, with assistance from his wife Tina and son Andrew, continues the quality of services our campers and their owners have come to rely on.

Happy Tails Resort & Spa ensures dog guests get plenty of human interaction and enjoy a home style environment. Located just south of Seattle, Washington next to Flaming Geyser State Park with plenty of clean, fresh air and room to play.
